I was playing this last night and I had a ton of fun. There were some things I was confused about and some problems I ran into while playing, I hope you don't mind.

  1. The Setup section is very barren and doesn't actually help with setup aside from money amounts. Like, what day of the week do we start at? Do we start with any workers or inventory? And how much? I didn't know how I was suppose to start, so I started my game with a crafter and 1 item in my inventory.
  2. In the Serve Customers section, it says the Owner can sell 2 of the same item if the customer is the same suit, but what determines the suit of the Owner? Do we just choose the suit at setup or do we draw a card? Does the Owner take up a spot in the staff section? Or would they be considered separate?
  3. The amount of cards we draw from efficiency when serving customers can get pretty ridiculous. By the time I got my 3rd clerk/specialist, I was drawing 15 cards. On my 4th, I was drawing 21 cards. I was spending less time playing and more time shuffling due to running out of cards. I feel that 6 efficiency as the max is way too much for this style of game. 3 max would be better.
  4. I don't understand the Crafting section. We draw cards to determine amount created but what determines the item we're creating? Do we just craft all the cards we get or just the ones we have in stock? I ended up dropping this and doing my own rules: draw cards equal to crafter efficiency, pick one card to represent the item being made, add that card's number to the inventory of 1 item of the same suit or create a new item if there's space.
  5. I don't know if it's because I was playing this wrong, but the loan amount for this game is actually ridiculous. I started with a 15,000 loan. I played for 2 hrs (most of it was me shuffling), and I only knocked off 1,000 from it. This type of game feels like it's meant to be a short 30 min to 1 hour game, but those who were unlucky to get a 39,000 loan will be playing this forever. I feel like we should only draw a single card to determine loan amount, but if it turns out that I'm not making enough money because I'm playing the game wrong, I'd greatly appreciate a proper explanation of the rules.

I feel like this would've benefited from being playtested by a friend before being released, since they would've caught the gaps in the explained rules. I still enjoyed my time with it and will continue to play, though probably with house rules until I figure out the intended way.

i love this!

Thank you very much!
